Dance-a-thon and Closing Party

A Dance-a-thon provided the finale to the exhibitions stay in Bristol and to the intensive Dance Dialogues programme.  From 11am until 6pm our Galleries venue attracted between 40 - 60 shoppers in to each half-hour workshop all day.

The day invovled a series of short demo performances and workshop slots for every dance group to stimulate the dance-a-thon. This  encouraged onlookers to join in with the different styles of dancing on offer. The groups also roamed around the galleries and outside  doing short demos to draw the crowd.

Bristol is fast becoming renowned for being home to a diverse range and quality of dance groups in the South West. The dance-a-thon was an ideal opportunity for all dancers to come together and show off what we do and have a great day of dancing.
