The role of our mentor and volunteer coordinator is to offer specific training, work experience and support to develop skills that our Getting Out There programme encompass eg. Recording and reporting (visual and audio), bushcraft, narrowboat skippering.
Digital Story Making Training
Imayla works closely with artists, teachers and youth workers to promote the development of creative evaluation techniques using audio and video interviews and photography to support participants to tell their own stories.
Cultural Awareness Training
We run training and other CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities that explore what we mean by culture, how we can value each others cultures and ways in which we can safely confront the issues faced when we encourage cultural exchange between different groups.
In addition we are able to run skills based training that supports artists, performers and teachers to increase the cultural diversity of their creative and teaching practice.
